A guide to the customer list

How to filter, sort, customise columns, export and delete in the customer list.

The customer list is an overview of all the customers created in your system. To find it, click Kunder in the main menu on the left.

Above the list you will find + Legg til filter (add filter) and Lagre filter (save filter). Top right you will find Import/Eksport, Rediger kolonner (edit columns) and + Ny kunde (new customer).

Folder view

The Kunder page opens in a folder view built on your customer statuses — for example Leads, Kunder, Pågående and Leverandør, each showing how many customers it holds. The folders also appear as a submenu under Kunder in the left-hand menu.

Folders are configured under Innstillinger → Kundeinnstillinger → Mapper, where you link one or more statuses to each folder. This is how you set up a working view such as new leads waiting to be assigned.

Click Alle Kunder to open the full list.

Filters

Click + Legg til filter above the list, choose the field you want to filter on, and set the value. The list updates immediately.

Can't find the field you are looking for? The filter list is not a fixed list — it mirrors the columns that are switched on. Go to Rediger kolonner, tick the field, then return to + Legg til filter and it will be there.

This applies to both the Standard and the Egendefinert tab.

Two fields worth knowing about: Tildelt (assigned to) and Skaper (creator). These are the two that answer "show me only my customers".

Saved filters

Once you have set a filter, you can save it so you do not have to build it again. Click Lagre filter at the top of the list, give it a name, and choose whether it should be private or shared with your colleagues.

Saved filters appear as tabs above the list. Shared filters are labelled with the name of the person who shared them; private ones are labelled Privat.

To go back to the unfiltered list, click the Alle Kunder tab.

Columns

Click Rediger kolonner to choose which fields are visible in the list. The panel has two tabs: Standard for the system fields, and Egendefinerte for fields you have created yourselves.

Your column choice applies to you only, not to your colleagues. You can click Tilbakestill kolonner at any time to return to the default setup.

If you need a column that does not exist — for example whether the customer wants a newsletter — create a custom field on Kunde under Innstillinger. It can then be switched on under Egendefinerte.

Sorting

Click the arrow in a column header to sort by that column. Click it again to switch between ascending and descending.

Exporting

The export always contains every field — including columns you have hidden on screen. You cannot choose which columns to include.

What you control is which rows are included.

To export, click Import/Eksport at the top of the customer list.

To export a selection, filter the list first — the export follows the filter.

💡 The customer list holds the company, not the contact details. Email addresses and phone numbers live on Personer, so an export from Kunder will have those columns empty. Export from Personer instead.

Importing

You can import customer lists, for example from a previous system. Click Import/Eksport and follow the steps to upload your file.

Prepare your statuses and categories before you import, so the imported records land where you expect. If you need help with an import, contact our support team.

Delete selected customers

Tick the checkbox on the left of each customer you want to delete. An action bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many you have selected.

Tick the rows one by one. Using the select-all checkbox in the column header leaves the delete option greyed out. To delete a large number, filter the list down first, then tick the rows individually.

Note: deletion cannot be undone.
