The forecast tool is used to estimate the probability of a sale, when it will be sold and the value.
Once you have created a forecast, it is easily accessible under the Sales tab on the customer card. By clicking on the tab and the relevant forecast, you will be taken directly to the sales card. Here you will find information about the products and the contract, among other things.
Easy overview of offers
The activity log on a customer card can quickly become a lot of information. When discussing price or products/services with a customer, you can create a forecast. Here you can set a probability and an expected sale date.
When you create a forecast, you will also get a new activity log on the sales card. You can then log everything about the current sale here, making it easy to find it again.
The activity logged on the sales card will also be visible in the activity log of the relevant customer.
💡Tips: By looking at the status, you can also easily see the difference between signed deals and forecasts.
Edit a forecast
If changes to the agreement are discussed, you can do this by clicking Change. You can make changes to products, price or contract, among other things. The customer will not be notified of the changes as long as you do not tick Request signature or send out the quote. It will be visible on the activity tab on both the sales card and the customer card that changes have been made to the current forecast.
Contract preview
On the sales card, you can also preview the contract and see how it will look for the customer who will receive it. Click the link with the contract name under Contract to download the PDF file. Click on the file to preview the contract.
This is a great feature to use if you're not sure how you want your contract to be set up. For example, you can test which position you want on the product overview. You can read more about sales settings here.
Opportunities on the sales board
The sales card gives you extra tabs for activity log, tasks, time and files. Everything that is done or created on the sales card will also be registered on the customer card, marked with the number of the sale. Activity, registered time and uploaded files will be visible in the activity log on the customer card, while tasks will be visible under the Tasks tab.
If you have tasks related to a quote that must be completed before the contract is signed, you can use tasks on the sales card. This makes it easy to separate tasks before signing from tasks after signing.
