To send out agreements and contracts for signing, you must first create a sale. In this article, you can read about how to create, edit and delete a sale.
Create a sale
Where can you create a new sale?
You can create a new sale both from the sales list and from the customer card.
If you create the sale from the customer card, the sale will automatically be associated with this customer. If you create the sale from the sales list, you need to search for the customer using the drop-down menu. We therefore recommend creating a sale from the customer card to minimize the chance of selecting the wrong customer.
Regardless of where you create the sale, the sales process will be the same.
To create a sale via the sales list, tap [Sales] in the main side menu, then + New sale, which you see in the top right corner of the screen.
To create a sale from the customer card, tap [Customers] from the main side menu and locate the relevant customer card. Tap Sales, and then + New sale.
Create a new sale
Once you have pressed + New sale, you will see an overview of your products. Here you can scroll to the product you want to add, or search for it in the search field at the top of the page.
Add the desired products by clicking Add.
The product will appear with the default values that were set when the product was created. These values can be changed before the product is added to the cart.
Depending on the type of product you have selected, you will be given different options for customization.
The products you select will be added to the "shopping cart" to the right of the screen.
Change a product in the cart
After selecting a product, you can change the quantity by pressing the +/- buttons, delete it by pressing the trash can, or edit the product by pressing the pencil.
If one of your products is of type "Recurring", you need to set a billing interval. Tap Annual and select your desired interval from the drop-down menu.
You can then tap Check out.
Check out
Once you have selected Check out, you will be taken to the check out page. This is the last page before the sale is created where you select the final details for the sale.
Details
If the About customer field is empty, tap Select a customer. Select the desired customer for the sale. Set the probability of the sale by dragging the round button until it shows the percentage for the forecast. Select the date when you expect the deal to be signed, under "Expected sold".
π‘ Tip: If you create a sale via a customer card, About customer (the name of the customer) is automatically filled in.
Request a signature
If you want to send out the offer right away, check Request signature. Then tap Select a contact to choose which of the registered contacts from the customer card you want to send the offer to.
π‘ Tip: If you want to send the offer to a person who is not registered on the customer card, you can create a new contact person by tapping + Create new person, in the drop-down menu.
Contract
Before you create the sale, you need to choose which contract you want to use. Here you will get a drop-down menu with an overview of all the contracts you have created.
Click Select a contract and select the relevant contract to be used in this sale. If you want to change the contract language to English for example, select English in the drop-down menu under Contract language. This will only change the standardized text and will not translate the contract template you have created.
If you have a comment on the contract, you can write it in the text box.
π‘ Tip: The comment can be linked into the contract and made visible to the customer.
Once you have reviewed everything and filled in the required information, press Create and the offer will be sent out for signing.
When the contract is created, you will automatically be directed to the sales card.
π‘ Tip: If you don't check the request for signature box, a sales card with status Forecast will be created when you create the sale. An offer will not be sent to the customer.
Modify a sale
After a sale is created, you can edit it from the sales card. Click Change. You will then be taken directly to the product page and shopping cart.
If you want to make changes to the products, do this before you click Check out.
Make the relevant changes on the checkout page before clicking Update.
If Request for signature is checked, the updated offer will be sent directly to the customer.
Delete a sale
To delete a sale from the sales card, tap the three dots next to Change, then Delete sale. Tap Delete to permanently delete the sale.
If you want to delete one or more sales at the same time, this can easily be done from the sales list. To do this, you must first check all the sales you want to delete.
Tap the three dots next to + New sale, then Delete selected sales.
Press Delete to permanently delete the sales.
