What you write in the contract template will become the default text in each of the contract/quotes you send out.

The contract can contain dynamic fields. Some of the fields are predetermined and others you can create yourself with custom fields. Dynamic/custom fields will be automatically filled in based on the customer information you have registered, such as the company name on the customer card.

Here you can read how to create a contract.

Give the contract a name

The first thing you should do is give your contract a name, you do this using the "Give a contract a name" field.

Font format

Choose between several different font formats for the text in the contract. To change the font format, tap the first four boxes. See the example below for what the different buttons mean and how it will look in the contract.

Headings

Choose between three different sizes of headings in the contract. Click the button for the heading you want to use. Below is an example of the different sizes.

Font placement

Select where in the contract you want to place the font. Click the button for the position you want.

Lists

Add lists to your contract. You can choose between a numbered list or a bulleted list. Tap the button for the list you want to use.

Dynamic fields

In most cases, a standard contract with standard information will also contain information that changes from customer to customer. An example of this could be the customer's name.

To avoid having to go into the contract template and change the customer's name every time you send the same contract to a new customer, you can easily use the dynamic links in the top right-hand menu.

Press the + button. This will bring up a drop-down menu where you can scroll through predetermined dynamic fields and your custom fields. Click on the field you want to add to the contract.

To add the customer's name (company name), tap Customer name, under Customer. The dynamic field will then be added to the contract. This link will then retrieve the name from the customer card of the customer you are sending the quote to, and you do not need to edit the template itself when sending.

If you want to add your own dynamic field that you can't find among the predefined ones, you can create a custom field in Sales in [Settings]. Your custom fields will be added below the dynamic fields.
